The South Bristol Youth Board is a collective of independent, innovative and committed young people who help to drive forward the ideas and ethos of the charity. Representing their schools, these young people meet every 6 weeks to discuss the work of SBY as well as building upon their own skills through leadership development and youth voice. Members of our youth board have helped arrange city wide events at We The Curious and the Victoria Rooms, spoken at numerous meetings detailing their ideas and point of view. Students have also developed skills such as teamwork, determination, creative thinking and communication through trips and visits to both cultural and political sites, such as climbing the rigging of the SS Great Britain and visiting the Houses of Parliament. The Youth Board continues to be integral to the workings and progress of South Bristol Youth and we are always so impressed and proud of the how the members grow and what they achieve during their time on the board.
