REALISING TALENT

SUPPORTING YOUNG PEOPLE TO ENGAGE WITH AND EXPLORE POST-16 OPTIONS

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Bristol Works to deliver the Realising Talent programme funded by WECA (West of England Combined Authority).

From November 2020 we will be working with 20 young people from each of three schools in Bristol. Delivered within the school day, this exciting programme will support and guide the young people for the next two years.

Informed by our extensive work with pre- and post-16 students, Realising Talent SBY draws on several of the most successful elements of our other programmes, offering activities that take a holistic approach to improving the confidence, skills and knowledge of the participants. These are enhanced by activities that will increase employer engagement and optimise the development of personal, social and employability skills, fully equipping participants to make appropriate choices about their futures and to make successful applications to them.

The programme will support the wellbeing of the young people, helping them to develop resilience and a positive mindset.
