Lest we forget

On this Remembrance Sunday we are taking time to reflect on those who serve the country in the uniformed services and the vast array of skills and abilities that these people have.

If we think back to recent times they have stepped up to support the NHS through the pandemic in various roles, and when there were floods in the south west last year they were out protecting houses and people from the flood water.

The uniformed services require many people from diverse backgrounds and many different skills and are always looking for enthusiastic young people to join their ranks.

In fact, all the uniformed services have apprenticeships routes which can offer great training and good career prospects.

Check out these apprenticeship opportunities from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force and watch the videos of young people learning new skills.

It is not just about those in uniform – the Ministry of Defence also offers various apprenticeships including Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship, Finance and Accounting Apprenticeship, Business Administrator Apprenticeship and Project Professional Apprenticeship.
